Development of an innovative Mobile Measuring Platform (MMP) aimed at supporting the functioning of elderly, dependent and people with special needs in their daily lives.
As part of the development of the Mobile Measuring Platform (MMP), the design and production of a device prototype in the form of a wristband for an elderly person (the Platform user), named the Mobile Wearable Device (MWD), is planned. The aforementioned bracelet will be equipped with a gyroscope, accelerometer, heart rate sensor, pulse oximeter, GPS module, GSM, memory for storing measurement data, and an operating algorithm. Data from the MWD will allow for drawing conclusions and recommending specific actions for their users (seniors), thus providing a basis for supporting independent living for elderly individuals.
After completing the research and development work and achieving the planned project objectives, ABAKUS Systemy Teleinformatyczne Sp. z o.o. plans to sell the MPP platform products for further implementation and offer a dedicated product for the telecare market.
